Times have truly changed - when we mailed physical packages without sufficient postage, SingPost now pastes a note with a QR Code to alert people about the correct postages (sizes and weights). Supposedly the recipient is to alert the send to pay the correct sum, i.e. a sum of $2 in this case (see picture below).

The irony to me is the use of a digital QR Code while the item in question is actually a physical item for delivery.
It is true that physical deliveries are all about packages / parcels nowadays. The actual letters, other than bank notices or companies related documents, are almost non-existent. No wonder the postal operator SingPost is facing challenges, compounded by its own internal staff related matters. Well, I still hope SingPost could turn around and succeed again.
